Changing hearts to change mind!
A unique opportunity to hear refugee stories from the people who have lived them
Time: Tuesday (October 11) 6:30pm - 8:30pm, including refreshments

Dr Tien Nguyen: Former Vietnamese refugee
Fabia Claridge: Co-Convener of "People Just Like Us"
In collaboration with Castlecrag Conservation Society, we are delighted to invite you to hear refugee personal story and journey to Australia. "People Just Like Us", a refugee rights organisation, will talk about the current Australia's asylum seeker and refugee policy. The event will also feature three short films; it will be a one-off variety evening centring around the experiences of refugees.
This event serves as a call for unity and for positive action, as well as to change Australians' perspectives and attitudes toward people coming by boat to seek asylum. We encourage everyone to welcome them and to acknowledge the skills and energy they bring to this country.
Refreshments will be provided after the Talks. This is an opportunity to keep the discussion going with the panelists and other audience members.
Everyone is welcome. Free event. Donations at the door. Booking ESSENTIAL
