We are delighted to invite you to hear the personal stories and journeys of people who sought asylum in Australia. The event will also feature cultural performances; it will be a one-off variety evening centring around the experiences of refugees.
This event serves as a call for unity and for positive action, as well as to change Australians' perspectives and attitudes toward people coming by boat to seek asylum. We encourage everyone to welcome them and to acknowledge the skills and energy they bring to this country.
Light Persian dinner will be provided after the Talks. This is an opportunity to keep the discussion going with the panelists and other audience members.
